hello ppl!!! *swaying to shan wee's wondrous voice* ahhhhhh..... hmmm anyway been SOO BEE-SAY that i havent been blogging..... at first it was mapling but now i'm yaking!!!!! haha kayaking to be more exact..... yea i think i'm officially hooked on to kayaking....i mean it has to mean something to me if it made me forget TOTALLY bout maple.... well unless raymond(marshall instructor-cum-mei ren) said bootes then i think sean said aquila.... haha thn i rmbd that i have not played maple like for SO MANY DAYS!!!! haha but i wouldn't have swopped any mapling day for OBS cos that's how pivoting the experience is.... too bad if you dont wanna read this entry...... *sticks out tongue n pulls down under eye*

day1
arrived n got introd to the campus..... wasnt very enthu cos i didn recognises ANYONE from my grup part frm pearlyn,kang ling,amos n xiu min.... i mean like out of 16 ppl..... but anyway we were all wondering "how long more will this bloody camp end??" haha yea that was how bored... hmmm anw learnt how to put on the harnest n helmet.... man was it different frm OAC....then learnt the ropes.... literally.... the 8 thing.... haha just tried it on a wire AND I STILL RMBB!!!! haha yea then did a whole day of high rope element thingys....*boring!!* *yawn* (i'm just not a high roper)

day2
finally got to go kayaking.... did it in the sea and had to cap size.... IN THE SEA!!! the salty, polluted, dirty, horribly uncomfortable sea.... i seriously messed up.... then we learnt the basic moves and it was OH SO MUCH FUN!!! then practised in the pool .... was really weird... i mean kayaking in the swimming pool... haha but i was still hesistent bout capsizing,.... couldn't do it... then had to teach derrick how to swim....(not he wei jian la!! in my dreams) haha but had fun all the same. then he was like "wah.... damn noob leh" haha but candy couldnt swim too... then pearlyn was pullin her up n down the pool n teaching her at the same time. haha then as we were doin the rescue thing, pearlyn's group rescued 1 boat n that boat capsized as well cos most of the water got drained into the boat!!!! haha man... was it funny... hhaa

later that night, we had to rush back to our bunks to pack up for our sea excursion the next day and our things were SERIOUSLY LIMITED.... but we managed....

day3
we woke up like uber early round 5 plus.... whao.... haha then started to load our kayaks out..... then we started our journey to camp 2.....

the trail was sortta like round the whole of ubin tho we could kayak 15 min to camp2 frm our camp.... ya.. it was THAT NEAR..... however, we had to so we did....

pearlyn n i were kayakin partners and we were to be "sweepers" so we stayed at the back .... to cut short, there were alot of hicupps..... but on the whole our school did welll.... hmmm according to raymond la

then at night, marshall n mei ren had a personal talk... yea... sortta ultimate watch bonding.... haaa yea then raymond talked bout his life n outward boundness... was interesting.,..... then we had to turn in for the night..... thn most of the girls had to sleep in the open on 2 pathetic ponchos cos of some selfish ppl who wouldn't give up 1 ground sheet for us tho it was out numbered (sticks out tongue once again)....

day4
woke up early n had to eat a non-descript breakfast... haah it's not as bad as it sounds but it was so mixed that i really dont know how to describe it. it was bread, ovatine n digestives,tuna, jam which was more like jelly, cakes with mold... haha yea... that was our breakfast.... anyway had to go back into the water to do our assesment on the kayaking.... this time i was somehow determined to capsize properly... and yes.... it was becos of you.. i wanted to do it for you....just for you... it nt i wouldn have the determination to go capsize.... sounds corny but yea that's how i feel.... *weird but true* haah rowed back n was back in the horribly dirty water and mei ren was treatening some of us to capsize us in that dirty water if anyone of us banged into him.... haah then we "beached" our kayaks and stuck to our end of the deal to capsize mei ren..... then it ended up with all of us splashing salty sea water into each others' eyes..... man were we fun.... then we transported our kayaks to wash and their undersides.... okay their haul really looked like the stomachs of dolphines/sharks.... then mei ren hosed water unto all or us..... hahaa we also showered under the horribly cooling washing area.... hahaa was seriously fun.... then wen jie was like "eh you look like you bei(4) qiang jian" then for a moment i mind blank and i flexed my muscles(if there were any) then wen jie's face was like a huge "huh" ahah then i asked liang yu what it meant cos i really mind block at that time.... musta been the sea water.... hahaaa then i realised i mixed up "jian qiang" for "qiang jian" haha call me blur cos i really think i'm blur.... yea was fun... but our "last meal @ obs" was really sad... just felt like that..... the boat ride back to sg was also very sad... but it was time to head back home... sigh....

i would recomend OBS to anyone!!!!! it is good!!! n useful!!! it's a must!!!

i still have that yao yao bai bai feeling frm the kayak.... hmmm
